FOUND DEAD IN MOTOR-CAR. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, August 5. The body of Roy M. Furness, of the firm of C. H. Furness and C’0..,. was found in his motor-ear on the Domain drive about 7 o’clock this morning. A bottle containing poison was lying on the floor of the car. Deceased was 30 years of age, and had just returned from a health trip to the Great Barrier Island. He feared h e was suffering from an incurable malady, and was in a state of nervous prostration. 4 BUTTER-FAT PAY-OUT. HAMILTON, August 5. At the end of August the Mew Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company will distribute among its suppliers £500,000 as a bonus for payment for the past season’s supply. It is claimed that this, with certain subsidies, will give suppliers to the company a better total payment for butter-fat than any other company in the provinces. WATERFRONT DISPUTE. McCormick, a married man with a family, who has been a Harbour Board employee for forty years, committed suicide this morning oy jumping from the Grafton. Road bridge. HLs neck was broken.
