ANNUAL REPORT.
MANGATOKI
The annua' general meeting of the Mangatoki Dairy Factory Co., Ltd., wifi be held on Wednesday, August 19. The report for the year, to be submitted bv the chairman (Mr J. Marx), is as follows:
“Your directors have pleasure in recording a very satisfactory year’s working.- The supply, with the exception of the winter months and a small amount of butter-fat from home-separ-ated cream, lias been manufactured into cheese, which has all been consigned and very satisfactory prices realised. At the time of going to press just short of 2000 cases remain to be sold, and this has been taken in at 106 s per cwt. The pay-out will not be material'y affected by the .realisation of this cheese.
“One shining and sixpence par pound butter-fat has already been paid to suppliers, and after allowing £ISOO deoreciation on buildings and plant, there remains a balance to appropriation account of £12,859 10s lid, or a furthei 2.297 d per pound of butter-fat from vho'e milk received. Your directors reoommend the payment of 5 per cent, interest on paid-up capital. This wiP absorb £IOSO. or .184 d per lb butterfat. Suppliers of home-separated cream have received Is 6d per lb. wh ch ipart from interest, represents the fin a’ oa.vment. Cheese suppliers will receive v further payment of one penny per oound at- the annual meeting and the balance as funds become available. “The retiring directors are Messrs F. Hoskin, T. Linn and Geo. Ppee-e. Messrs Hoskin and Preeee are eligible urd offer themselves for re-e’ection and vour directors wish to place on record their appreciation of Mr Linn’s twelve years of useful service in the best interests of the eompanv. During the year your auditor. Mr H. R. Rurdekin, resigned. Your direct ur llled +he vacancy bv appointing the Vm of Messrs Rurdekin, AValk’ey end Gameron, who have completed the vudit for the year.
