He pointed out that after a light’s rain the quantity of milk often increased to an appreciable extent, the* result being that the vats were liable o overflow, entailing wastage and consequent loss of yie'd. He further stressed that water contained no butterfat, and as its presence in the milk necessitated a certain amount of unprofitable labour in dealing with the whole jupply, a verv desirable improvement would he effected if suppliers would take steps to ensure it was not introduced from outside sources. Professor G. Salt, lecturer and de'monstrator in phvsics at the Auckland University, has "been elected to be representative of the licensees on the Radio Broadcatsing Board. He polled 1382 votes.
