A valuable Sunbeam motor-car, owned by Mrs. M. Wilcocks, of South! Road, Hawera, was damaged by lire on Saturday afternoon. It appears that Mrs. Wilcocks bad driven to her farm at Toliaora and had left the car standing in a paddock. Shortly afterwards she was informed that the machine was in flames, but the fire was discovered too late for the body to escape destruction.
