STICKING TO THE LAST.
A family of six, all over 80 and two over 90, live at South Hackney. Their aggregate ages total 525 years. The “baby” of the family, William Hews, is 80 years and five months, and he and his elder brother John, who is 91 years and three months, are engaged in making hand-sewn boots, at which trade they have been for over 50 years. The other nonagenarian of the l family is a sister, Mrs. Curtis.
