GRAVESTONE AND SHROUDS.

At a sale of 2094 lots of unclaimed goods and lost property at Derby by a railway company lately a number of strange lots were disposed of. One was a gravestone, which went for 45., while a lot of shrouds fetched' 6s.

Other prices realised included: 94 tins of lobster £6, seven dozen dolls £3, football net and posts £l, 10 dozen umbrellas £5, three fishing rods £1 6s, Punch and Judy outfit -16 s, conductor’s bell-ticket punches £1 12s 6d, hamper of gloves £4 10s, and pearl necklet and gold necklet £2 12s 6d.
