THREE ACCUSED RELEASED. At the Plummer murder trial, three of ten accused, who were admittedly not present at time of the murder, were fcicquitted byy the direction of the judge. . . Ten men are being tried for murder at the Leeds Assizes in connection with the death of William Plummer, who was attacked by a race gang or men outsid© liis residence at Sheffield on April 28 and was fatally stabbed. The doors were guarded, the police fearing disturbances by friends of the prisoners. It was expected that one hundred witnesses would be called.
