The night express front Rouen, which was travelling at isixty milleis an hour instead ol the scheduled thirty males, was derailed. The train ploughed along the line for a hundred yards and plunged into a ravine twenty feet- deep. The dead and injured were buried under the debris and took many hours to extricate.
