At Westfield (Auckland) there was again a small market of beet. i rime cattle were very scarce, and met with a reailv sale at a slight increase in prices. BURNSIDE MARKET
At Burnside (Dunedin) prices tor all conditioned stock firmed appreciably, price for catt’e moving up from £2 to eg per head and ruling higher than has been the case since the war period. Fat Cattle.—All cusses moved up in price, obeying a keen demand. The rates rose from £2 to £3 a head. Extra prime bullocks made at from £„o 10s to £2B 15s. prime £lB to £24, light £l4 10s to £l6 10s, extra prime hellers £l2 to £l3 10s; cows. £9 10s to £ll 15s. , „ , Fat Sheep. —Ewes were up 2s and more, and wether* had an advance of from 48s to 50s 6d, prime 41s to 4os 6d. lighter from 34s 6d. Extra prime heavy ewes made up to 51s. prime 34s to 3is. dght 28s to 325. Lambs sold to exporters at puces much the same as those of last week, prime lamb making up to i0 2 -ci a pound. , . . , Bigs.—There were only eighty-six fats, but prices fell from 7s 6d to 10s per head.

At the Addington sale all classes of store sheep sold spiritedly at practically last week’s values.
