It is reported that the mine owners have agreed to Mr Baldwin’s request to suspend their notices. —A. and N.Z. AhSll ' LONDON, July 28. The Daily Express understands that the Prime Minister (Mr. Stanley Bald, win) will ask the mine owners to withdraw their notices pending a new investigation or pioiits and losses, wages and working costs. The Government is meanwhile ottering a limited giuu ailtee against losses due to delay.
