Canada has agreed to continue its existing contribution tor the upkeep of war graves until, the end of 1981, and alter 'that time she will create an endowment fund, the revenue from which will .suffice for their perpetual maintenance. Australia and New Zealand have already arranged to cooperate with Britain tor the perpetual maintenance of war graves. The tojal of the endowment fund is five millions, and this amount was based on an estimate of 5s 9d per annum per grave, whidh will also cover maintenance of memorials to missing men. The fund will he vested in trustees appointed by the Government ooncernech—-Times.
