A message from San Diego, California, states that Mr 'Wilbur has announced the intention of the Navy Department to transfer all air activities of the navy, including the dirigibles Los Angeles and Shenandoah, to San Diego. The change is due to the greater opportunity given for training with the fleet. Naval officers are amazed at the announcement, which indicates the development of San Diego as one of the world’s greatest air bases. —A. and N.Z. Assn.
