THE DAIRY INDUSTRY.
HOME SEPARATION
MEETING OF SUPPLIERS
EXPRESSION OF CONFIDENCE
CARRIED
In order to enable the suppliers cf home-separated cream to the Hawera Dairy Company to have an opportunity to meet the chairman and the secretary of the company to have a round table talk over the affairs of the company, a meeting was arranged for this morning, and was duly held. Mr J. R. Corrigan, M.P., chairman presided over a very fair attendance or suppliers. The matter of home separation, in the light of the season just ended, and the prospects for the coming season were discussed at length and in all their hearings. All expressed themse'ves as thoroughly satisfied with the results achieved and the prospects for the company, and expressed their intention of securing move suppliers if they were able.
As the outcome, a motion of thanks to the directors for their work and of continued confidence in them for the future was passed unanimously. There is no doubt meetings of this nature do a lot of good and tend to create among suppliers a feeling of mutual interest in their own concerns.
