LORD CURZON’S WILL. COMMENTS ON FORMER COLLEAGUES. BY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCI ATI ON —COPYRIGHT. LONDON, July 24. A remarkable new disclosure is published by the Morning Post relating to Lord Curzon’s will of £354,000, in which he left two castles to the nation. They are Tattersliali Castle, in Loncobishire, and Bodiam Castle, in Sussex. It is stated that his will consisted oi three testaments, one of which contained pungent and illuminating comments on former colleagues, including a former jPrime Minister of England. A. person who- is aware of the contents says the publication would have caused a rude shock to the public faith in a man who had rendered conspicuous service to the State. Lord Curzon notified that the document was for guidance and not publication, but as it contained directions analogous to' those in the ordinary will, it was .shown to. the Probate Court where it was confirmed. If admitted to probate the contents would inevitably have become known, and it was therefore withdrawn.
