Yesterday we went to the Hawera Show, and enjoyed ourselves very much, it was raining when we came out so we did not have a ride on the merry-go-round. My schoolmaster was sick on Friday. It was our Sunday school social last night and 1 got a book called “How Eittie Bessie Kept The Wolf From The Door.” i nave a pet bantam. I intend to go in for all vour competitions. The girls have a good chance of getting the prizes. The result of the marks was 7,>>. Billy is getting on very well, and we hope to have him home soon. My aunty in England sent me two pretty cards and my unci© drew a pig for niv little brother. My sister and .1 have been making a garden and in it we put- som e bulbs which are coming up lovely. Myself and three brothers go to the Matapu, school. Mr. Petty takes us in his motor-lorry, and we often sing songs when we are going to ami coining home from school.
