ANN UAL M EETIXGS. NORMAXBY. The thirty-first annual of the Norman by Co-operative Dairy Factory, to be presented at the annual meeting, on Monday, August 3, i s as follows: “The season ha s again been a most successful one for the company, our output of cheese showing an increase of nearly fifty tons over that of last year, whilst prices have been very steady. The cheese unsold at date of balance has been estimated to realise 95s per ewt. on the London market, and after providing for interest on shares, the estimated payment for the season is Is Sd. Last season’s payout was estimated at Is 63d, but on final realisation the amount available brought the payout up to Is 7-id. “The retiring directors are Messrs R. J. Ballantine and G. W . Gane, both of whom are eligible for re-election, and offer themselves accordingly. The annual report of the Hawera Dairy Company to be presented to the shareholders’ meeting on August 3 is as follows: At the time of making up the accounts for the year 4619 crates of cheese were unsold, but the whole of the- season’s cheese had hen shipped. It took 9.3 9 1H'S of milk to make lib of cheese (9.706). while 2.6891bs of cheese were made from ea r, h pound of butter-fat (2.737). The average test was 3.98 (3.76).

For bettor-making 383,6361bs of milk was used (22,772.2341b5) and 9 tons 7 cwt of butter xvere made (534 tons 11 cwt. The butter-fat totalled 17.7851bs (984,5681b5). Tn the home separation department 1,318.15711’s of cream xvas received, giving 496.0661bs of luitter-fat and making 271 tons IScwt of butter. For each pound of better-fnt 1.22781bs of butter was made. The average test of the cream received was 37.633.
