Fol'owing a quarrel between David William Cole and another youth at Wo oil a lira, the youth’s father complained to the police that his son had been attacked by young Cole. The noiiee advised him to proceed by. summons, and he lelt the police station. In the early hours of this morning Mr K Cole, aged 54, and her daughter Sadie, aged 21, heard knocking at the door. They went downstairs and i.nened it. and they were savage’y attacked by a man with an iron bar, who battered' their heads. They were sent .o hospital, both with compound fractures of the skulls.
