A FINE JERSEY HERD.
The man who wants to obtain producers will lie interested in the sale of Mr George Mitchell’s fine cattle at. the Waiwakaiho yards on Thursday next, tlio 23rd inst. Mr Mitchell is sealing half of his cows and all of his (14) 2-year-okl heifers. They are all typey, heavy-producing cattle, as will lie deed'from the fact that the average ield per head is 3561bs fat, based on he factory returns. This is a return •vliich any farmer may be proud of. Mr Mitchell is a good judge of a Jersey, and is breeding on progressive lines. His herd sire. Hawkesburv Blue Light, \s leaving excellent stock. Some of ' - heifers are by him. and the cows are in oa f to him. They calve early and show wel| forward now.
