PAY-OUT AND BONUS. OFFERS RECEIVED. Information from som e of the factories in the district shows that the operations for the season promise to be very satisfactory. Most factories have bad an increase in turnover as compared with last year, and the recovery and continued increase in prices at Home have combined to make the season’s results very good. Alost of the factories are paying out a bonus, varying in amount. Normanby has paid out 1-Jd, totalling about £3900; Metis Id, ; equalling about £1200; and Melrose has also paid out a penny. It is understood that one district factory has accepted an offer for cheese of 91 cl to December. This means that tlie market average must be 105 s up to April, it is also understood that offers have been made of even £cl above that figure.quoted, up to 9-jj-cl. On Monday, July 20, the Hawera Company will pay out a bonus bringing the pay-out un to Is 6d for butterfat over the whole of the season. A further substantial sum is yet to come, and it is expected that the final payout will be between Is 7d and Is Bd.
