BUILDING CRUISERS.

The Daily Telegraph’s Parliamentary correspondent foreshadows that the Government will lay down five cruisers this year, involving a small amount immediatey but £5,000,000 next year. The full building programme wilL probably be 18 cruisers, spread over three years. The Daily Express says that five cruisers will be laid down this year, and seven each year for the next five years, making 40 in six years. They will be all of 10,000 tons.
