Pancho Villa, the world’s champion fly-weight boxer, died to-day, following ail operation on his jaw.—Reuter. CAUSE OF VILLA’S DEATH. (Received July 15, 2.5 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, July 14. Villa, the boxer, was suffocated under the anaesthetic. He had recently lost a bout with Jimmy McLarn’in, in which he insisted in fighting, despite an infected tooth and swollen jaw, and against the doctor’s advice.—Reuter.
