SAN FRANCISCO TO TAHITI. WON BY YACHTSMAN. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received July 6, 1 p.m. SAN FRANCISCO. July 5. It is learned that Norris, of the yacht “Mariner,” won the race to Tahiti. Bis vessel arrived at Papeete on July 1. but owing to the 30-hour handicap given to other entrants, no word was sent out till that time had elapsed.— Reuter.
