Referring to- proposals for the stabilisation of wool values in a speech at the Sheep Show luncheon, Mr. F. B Eearon said he thought they would do without any such scheme as outlined bv Sir J. Higgins if they had a council picked men wlio wouid not oe on any boards of advice or boaids of directors -of wool companies, nr.u who had confidence of from 50,000 to 60,000 wool mowers. This council could meet the Brokers’ Council and spread the sales over tlie whole year unless otherwise desirable. In such circumstances they did not want such an elaborate scheme as that suggested by Sir J. Higgins.
