The sum of £IO.OOO is awaiting lor the discovery of an effective agency tor the destruction o-t blackberry, but it has not yet been won and, according to Hon. Mr Nosworthy, Minister foi Agriculture, many of chose who suggested solutions do not- know as much as exper ts of his department, who have been trving to. cope with the problem for years. The bonus was waiting, however, and he would not mind adding a few more thousands if an effective scheme was brought along to cope with the problem quicker than the department’s officers could deal with it.
