Yesterday morning the employers’ agent said the opinion was held '.that rfP award could be made. At Huirangi on the 7th just, an important sale of high-grade Jersey cows, etc., is to he held on behalf of Mr. Fred Loveridge. There are 50 cows in the herd, all of which are fawns of beautiful quality. Forty-two of the line are second calvers, and proof of their productivity is that for the past season the herd averaged 2521 b fat, a splendid performance considering that the majority were heifers. Mr. Loveridge is also offering, subject to a slight reserve, his flock of over 300 Romney ewes, which is an excellent line all being due to lamb early to Southdown and English Leicester rams.
