A .settier at Supplejack Valley, Upper Moutere, Neltson district, named Joachim Han.si Heinrich Eggers, aged 63, committed suicide by hanging on June 30. Deceased had been n bad health for some time. He went to work on his. farm as usual on Tuesday after dinner. He did not return to tea and a search was made, the body being eventually found .suspended from a tree on the farm. At the inquest a verdict was reurned that deceased committed rsuicide by hanging while sufferi rig from temportairy insanity brought on by heart disease.
