GERMANY AND POLAND

LATTER LIKELY TO SUFFER

THROUGH REPRISAL. MEASURES

BY CABLE—VttESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT

(Received July 3, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, July 2. The Berlin correspondent of The Times says that the German Government- has decided on counter measures to Poland’s prohibition on the import of German goods. • It is pointed out that even apart from coal the German market is more important to Poland than Poland’s is to Germany, and in a reprisals contest Poland is likely to be the greater sufferer. On the other hand it may be recalled that the late German boycott on Polish manufactures merely fostered new industries in Poland.—Times.
