In the second mnmgs it made 222 for four wickets, declared (Hendren 54). Cambridge in the hist innings made 132 (Bennett 51), and in the second 144. Haig took free for 34. Marvlehone won by 333 runs. Survey in the first innings made 100. Macauley took five for 36 and Kilnei three for 18. The second innings resulted in 175 (Shepherd not out bo). Macauley took six for 68. Yorkshire iu the first made 233 (Holmes ■ Saddler took four for 45 and bender four for 43. The second produced 4J fo rno wickets. Yorkshire won liy 10 wickets. . . , Lancashire in the first mnmgs made 329 (Makepeace 76, Hallows 68, ETvldeslev 114) and in the second 20l (Watson 52, Barnes 50). Richmond took four for 41. Notts in the first innings made 242 (Walker 52, George Gunn 68), and in the second made>l/8 for three wickets (Carr not out 102). Lancashire won on the first innings. Oxford in the first innings made ob. Allen took three for 19 and Bettington six for 9 5. The second produced 182. Allen took five for 'SB. Levesmi; Gower’s eleven in the first mwde -Ho (Stevens 66, Naumann 69). Hewitson took four for ' 44. Leveson-Gower s team won by an innings and 47 runs. For Sussex against Warwick, Borley made 132 and "Holmes not out 100. For Warwick. Parsons made 124, Smith not out 139. Caltborne not out 109. Warwick won. For Northants against Essex, Jupp took five for 34, and for Essex Hipkin took six for 28. Northants won. For Hampshire against Leicester Drown took six for 35 in the first innings and Kennedy five for 29 m the second. Hampshire won. For Glamorgan against Gloucester, innings and six for 47 in the second. For Gloucester, Parker took seven for 52 and seven for 93. Gloucester won. For Kent against Derby. Hardinge made 144, Seymour 119, while Cornwallis took five for 56 for Derby and Horsley took five for 36. Kent won.— A -1 , and N.Z. Assn.
