LONDDN. June 30.

What is claimed to be the first I ai ls to London, flignt by an amphibian passenger aeroplane was carried out this morning. A Schreck aeroplane, equipped with a 3(X)-h.p. HispanaSui/./.a engine, took off from the Seme in Paris and landed in the Thames at Hammersmith, after whichJt proceeded to Croydon aerodrome. The trip was carried out by ’ the French Air Union as an experiment. It is estimated that on a round trip it will save an hour s time, also the cost ol convoying passengers between London and Croydon. Reuter.
