As a curtain-raiser to the Wellington football match the New Plymouth Technical College v. Hawera, Technical High School match will he played. This match has always provided an exhibition of keen- football. Last year, it will, he remembered, Hawera won by a good margin, but this year good ju dings who hriye seen both teams in action say that New Plymouth will turn, the tables. However, the local schoolboys are'i'a. lively lot ,though small, and a good game may be expected. The match starts at 1 o’clock.
