AUSTRALIAN STATES WANT LOANS. NONE AVAILABLE IN BRITAIN. BY CARLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT LONDON, June 2S. It is learned - that there is definite evidence that both the Commonwealtn and the Australian states will be borrowing in America in the near tuture. Negotiations are in progress, With the full approval of the British Government and the Bank of Eng.ana. It is stated in financial circles that money is not available in Britain at present to finance dominion undertakings, and although doubtless it would be forthcoming if sufficiently liberal teims were offered, it would be raised only at the expense of some other underta k i n gs. '
