H, Dyer (Wellington.) takes change of the Mastenton station, vice Sergeant J. Sweeney. Sergeant Sweeney lias beep promoted to seniorsergeant, Hamilton. Constable J. Melville (Wellington) ha<s been promoted to sergeant, and takes u,p his duties at the central station, Wellington. Inspector Hutton (Gisborne) is retiring, his place being filled by SubLnsipector A. Cameron (Christchurch), who has been promoted to inspector. Sergeant J. A. Matthew (Hamilton) lias been promoted to subin.speetor, and proceeds to Christchurch. Senior-Sergeant Mathison (Dunedin) is transferred to Ashburton to replace Senior-Sergeant A. O. Quartermain (St. Alban’s, Christchurch) is promoted to senior-sergeant and transferred to Dunedin, Sergcyint D. Hyland i® ; transferred front Bieefton to St. Alban’s. Constable M. E. Hill (Hikurangi) is promoted to sergeant and transferred to Wellington.
