A message from Billings, Montana, states that portions- of the States of Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and M ashin Eton, representing the nation s playoround, were harassed by earthquakes for four hours on Saturday night No fatalities have been reported, nut traffic on one transcontinental railway was suspended by avalanches brought down by the ’quake., and also bv a collapsed tunnel. 'Thousands of people rushed panicstricken into the streets of the different cities at the first tremor. Half-a-dozen buildings were demolish.—Renter.
