BANDITS’ TRICK.
BANK CLERK ROBBED. COLLISION ARRANGED. LONDON, June 12. Four motor bandits driving a Ford car to-clay cleverly stole £I2OO which a cleric from Barclay’s Bank at Ilford was taking to a smaller branch at Goodmayes. The car was deliberately caused to collide with the rear wheel of the bicycle, throwing the clerk heavily. One of the bandits then jumped to the roadway and picked up the money bag, after which the party drove off at reckless .speed in the direction ' .of Southend.
