HAWERA SHOW AWARDS

FINE DISPLAY OF PRODUCE

The dairy section is always a part of the South Taranaki Winter Show which attracts a tremendous amount- of interest, and it is always well and artistically arranged,, and makes one of the features of the Show. This year the entries are as good as last, and the judges express keen approval of the general standard of quality.

Competition, as was to be expected- when it is recalled that the entries come from all parts of the Dominion, was very keen. In the prize list, published below, it will be seen that local factories scored well, Alton securing the Shaw, Savill and Albion Cup. and the Henry Lane Co.'s Cup for cheese, while the Lonsdale Cup for cheese goes to Kuku (Woodville). The Rennet specials were Avon by Alton and Ngaere. Detailed points follow: —
