In view of. the suspected case of plague in Queensland, a conference of health authorities and public bodies decided immediately to enforce .precautionary measures, including comprehensive rat destruction, and a campaign, to protect the city from possible invasion by the dreaded scourge. CASE NOT YET DEFINITE. (Received June 25, 1.30 p.m.) BRISBANE, June 25. Queensland has been declared by the Federal authorities to be a place infected, but it is not yet determined whether the susnected case is plague.
