RAILWAYMEN’S WEEK.
FIXED AT 44 HOURS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received June 23, 1.30 p.m. BRISBANE, June 23. The Arbitration Court fixed the railway employees’ week at 44 hours, worked in five shifts of eight hours and one of four hours. The pay is to be the same as for the 48 hours week.
