HAWERA CONFERENCE
ENTERTAINMENT OF DELEGATES
The Women’s National Reserve is taking an active part in the arrangements for entertaining the delegates of tile N.D.A. at Winter Show time. It will take over the supper arrangements for the big social to be hold on Wednesday. July 1. Last night members of the reserve he’d a meeting, at which preliminary arrangements were made. It was reported by Miss Corrigan that everything was going ahead well. The assistance of the ladies will b e a very valuable help to the men’s commit teeAt the ordinary meeting of the Show executive last night the secretary reported that the arrangements for accommodation of the delegates had been completed, and all would be provided with accommodation. Use: has been made of the hotels at Normanby. Li other matters arrangements were going ahead well. To-night there will be a meeting m the Borough Chambers of the special town and country committee set up to deal with the general entertainment arrangements, and it is hoped that al] will"'make a point to he present.
