The Ai t Union promoted by the Canterbury Cricket and Tennis Associations was drawn to-night, the first six prizes being won as follows: £IOOO—F. Sandford, Christchurch. £SOO—J. Aitehison, H ami ton. £2oo P. Mangher, Christchurch. £lO0 —M. G. Hendry, Taupo. £lO0 —C. H.. Cooper, Annat. £lO0 —N. Jamieson. Auckland There were 180 other prizes ranging from £SO to £5. Idle art union netted about £9OOO to each association. The tennis body will devote its share to equipping 'Wilding Park, and the cricket body to providing coaches.
