Duke, will sell as above his complete herd, implements} etc. — WITHOUT RESERVE COWS, young Jerseys and Jersey cross 13 heifers in calf to pedigree Jersey bulls 0 verniers by pedigree Jersey bulls - l pedigree Jersey bull 1 breeding sow 1 young mare, spring carter 2 lambs Spring cart, s.f. lever plough, tyne and chain harrows, discs, tumbler, gig and spring cart harness, 2 collars, 20gal. cans, lOgal. cream cans, 2 , milking machine buckets, wire, posts, timber, 40 White Leghorns, pig troughs 1 Treloar milking machine, only 2 years in use (slight reserve) Arrangements have been made by the vendor to have machine re-erected and guaranteed in first-class order by Trcloars Ltd., Hnwera, free of cost to purchaser. This is a young herd of practically -Tersev cows with a few exceptions; majority are rising 4th calvers, 6 are 2nd culvers. They are all August calvers except 5. Dates will be given at sale. They are in calf to pedigree Jersey bulls, and Mr Duke has culled veijv heavily, and had no intention of selling until a few weeks ago. Gedge. will sell as above — WITHOUT RESERVE JERSEY & JERSEY CROSS COWS 3 in-calf heifers 5 good weaner heifers 1 bull 1 pony 1 waggon horse 2 sows to farrow early 1 young boar 9 store pigs 1 3-cow plant with Lister engine Hay, mangolds, kerosene stove, 12gal. copper, grindstone, stumping jack, lawn roller and mower, s.f. lever plough, discs and carriage, Duncan roller, tripod and chain harrows, hay rake, 11-coulter M.H. drill, M.TT. mower, spring tip-dray, meat safe, cross-cut saws, bars and chains, Planet Jr., horsehair, barrels and troughs, wire, endless chain, 3 sacks Garton seed oats, gal. bath, farm tools and sundries This herd contains a big percentage of grade Jersey cows; the balance are Jersey cross and are due in August and September, .with a few exceptions. Calving dates will be given at sale. The herd is in very fair condition, and will do well wherever taken. There are very few old cows, as Mr Gedge has culled heavily this past season.
