May 1. -Mr. 1 bourns Hell told the conference of Communists in Glasgow that definite steps had been take n to establish a revolutionary republic in Ireland and to materially assist the revolutionary groups which were established throughout the Empire. Help was being afforded to those nationalities who were struggling against imperialistic rule, especially Palestine, Syria and Egypt. the programme had been completed lor the permeation of the army, navy and air force, and it was already bearing fruit.
