TO POLISH GLASS.

The following are three simple methods of cleaning windows or polishing mirrors. 1. Take a pail, of clear water; mix with it some washing blue and wash the glas§ well with this wit, a chamois skin; whe n dry, finish with a clean and soft duster. This will keep clean much longer than when done i n any other way. 2. Wash with clean, cold water, and polish with a washleather dipped in methylated spirit, sprinkling "a little- powdered chalk on the wet leather; gives a brilliant polish. 3. Cover the glass with a mixture of common whiting and water, let it dry, then rub off with a soft dry duster and polish with a chamois leather.
