POSSIBILITY OF NEGOTIATIONS
GERMAN PR.ESS COMMENT. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received June 20, 11.50 a.m. BERLIN. June 19. Nationalist newspapers advocate the rejection of the French Note. They especially criticise France’s claim to arbitrate in the event of a GermanPolish conflict, while the unconditional entry of Germany into the League of Nations was strongly objected to, as it was stated it was impossible for Germany to give the League the right to send troops across Germany against another nation. The Catholic organ, Germania, expresses the opinion that Germany and France will agree to the principle. The Yonvaerts considers the 1< rench reply has advanced the discussion. Dr. Strese.rnann’s organ, the Diezet, sees in. the reply the possibility of negotiations with France. —Reuter.
