The South. Taranaki farm school at Mamain Avas continued all day on Thursday. The day’s programme covered a. series of very able and useful papers, perhaps the most interesting Of the AA-eek. ‘ ' They c-OA’ered a field which included -the mysteries of seientifio dairy research, combined with the eminently practical Avork of the dairy farmer “AAdth his coat o-tf,” so- to speak. The combination. created a- distinct. feeling of enthusiasm. The day’s work Avas much .’appreciated. During the afternoon the party were entertained at afternoon tea by Alesdtames Garni in and Dlakers and Aliss Betts, and at -Hie end of the -evening session ladies of the AY.C.T.XT. provided light supper , thus 'in some measure -augmenting their funds. TO-DAY’S PRO.GRIAAIAIE. END OF THE SCHOOL. •To-tlay is the last, dray arid the -subjects are. “Ensilage,” by Air. J. AY. Deem, and “Forestry,” by Air. P. Al. Page, of Rotorua. At the end of theprogramme -all questions submitted by members AA r ere opened a.nd answered. The school broke up in -the afternoon, after a useful five Jays’ work.,
