A Paris message states that the Pnime Minister (M. Pain I eve) has returned to : Paris from French Morocco. Mr M. Qualter, statio minister of Elthnm, and Mr A. McNeil, commercial agent of railways for Taranaki, were in Manaia this morning. A deputation representing the Chamber of Commerce; County Council and Town Board waited upon them with referen'c to Manaia railway, putting the case of the railway before them. They promised to make representation to headquarters on the subject. • Mrs Don, New Zealand president of the W.C’T.TJ., who has recently returnee! from a world tour, is due to speak in the Grand Theatre, Hawera, on Wednesday next. Mrs Don is considered to be one of the best of New Zealand’s women speakers.-
