ELECTRIC POWER BOARD.
ELECTION OF REPRESENTATIVES
FOR SOUTH TARANAKT BOARD. For flic constitution of the South Taranaki Electric Power Board various local bodies have been required to elect a certain number of representatives. Tli© Hawera Borough Council and the Hawera County Council have each been allotted two members for the board. Nominations closed at noon to-day, and tlie following were nominated: — aHawera County Council. —Leonard Alfred Bone and Ernest Arthur Paoey. The-/ have been declared elected. •Hawera County Council. —John Bryson Murdoch, Ernest Alfred Washer, Again the nominations just fill the vacancies, and there will be no election. Norma.nby Town Board.—Only one candidate was nominated, Charles Joseph Preston, who was consequently .returned unopposed.
