VISITS SWAZILAND

AN IMPRESSIVE WELCOME. BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT CAPETOWN,., Tune 14. The Prince of Wales after a long ride across wild, rugged country, reached Mbabane, the capital of Swaziland, where he received an impressive welcome, revealing the native in all his primitive barbaric sp endour. Four thousand Swazi warriors in full wav dress, drawn up in lines half a mile long, gave the'Royal salute, ending in a shrill, piercing whistle. The paramount chief, Sobsuza, did the honours, wearing a smart grey lounge suit and a grey hat. He was assisted by the queen-mother, whose head-dress included the red feather of the rainmaker, for which she is famed. The Prince was greatly interested in the inspection of the Swazi regiments.
