Fat stock showed an easing tendency at Burnside stocK sale to-day, which was the first sale hed for two weeks owing to the Otago Winter Show being held last week. Pigs were somewhat firmer in price. ’ Fat Cattle.—Prime bullocks £ls 10s to £l7medium, £ll 10s to £l4 15s; light, £8 to £lO 10s; extra prime cows and. heifers £l3 17s, prime _£B 10s to £ll, medium £5 15s to £7 ss. old and inferior £3 10s to £5 -ss. Fat Sheep. —Extra prime heavy wethers made Up to 555, prime heavy 49s to 51s 3d, prime 42s to 455. lighter 35s to 38s 6d; prime heavy ewes made from 31s to 35s 9d, and lighter sorts from 23s 6d to 29s ,3d. Fat Lambs. —Prices showed no marked change compared with those of last sale. Pigs.—Prices were good, about the same = as a fortnight ago. ADDINGTON MARKET. CHRISTCHURCH, June 10. At Addington market store sheep were doWn in value, as also were fat cattle, but fat .sheep sold well. A.b the Westfield fat stock sale there was an average yarding of beef. Prices for prime c-attle were decidedly better, but plain cattle were again dull of sale. Quotations : Extra choice ox 33s per 1001 b, choice anti prime 28s to 275, prime young cow and heifer beef 27s to 295, medium quality 23s to 225. Sheep.—Extra heavy prime wethers made £2 3s to £2 os, heavy prime wether £2 to £2 2s, medium prime 37s 6d to 395, light and unfinished 33s to 38s, medium prime 32s to 355, light prime 28s to 31s, others 20s to 275. Pigs.—Choppers made £3 10s to £4 17s, heavy and medium bacotiers £3 15s to £4 12<>, light bacon ers and heavy irorkers £3 os to £3 12s, medium and ight porkers £2 11s to £3 3s.
