OPERA HOUSE—TO-NIGHT

GLOAMING v. THE HAWK

To-night the management will screen for local patrons the classic struggle between Gloaming and The Hawk at Napier. An excellent result of the race has been secured. . Claire Windsor plays the lead m “Born Rich,” a First National picture showing also this evening. The story is laid in New York society circles, and shows what the idle rach, in its ambition to drain life of the .ast drop of pleasure, in the mad pursuit of new sensations will go to. The settings are magnificent, and the dressing superb. Others in the cast are Claire Windsor, Bert Lyttel, Cullon Landis, J. Barnev Sherry. Frank Morgan, Maude Turner Gordon and Jackie O.tt, the five-year-old boy swimming champion. These features are euppoifcetl by two comedies, Scenic and Topical Budget. A special programme for children is advertised for the matinee on Satuiday, the star feature being thenfavourite Hoot Gibson in “The Riding Kid from Powder River.”
