MURDER OF RIX.
BOY COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. CORONER ’ S~COMMENTS. 8Y CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION-COPYRIGHT, Received June 11, 2.30 p.m. LONDON, June 10. At the inquest On the butler Rix a verdict of wilful murder was returned and the youth Bishop was committed for trial. The evidence disclosed that Rix had discharged Bishop in February. The police submitted a statement in which Bishop said be went t-o the house at one o’clock in the morning, for no special reason. He stood outside Rix’s door, thought lie was waking, and so “went in and hit him with a. chopper. ‘ He was good to the other servants, but was always messing about me. ’ ’ The coroner said it was a brutal murder.' x There seemed to br> growing up a new generation of ruthless boys and immoral boys, who tbomdit nothing of taking human life.
